I started making money from property back in 1997, I was an Accidental Landlord, and because I had to relocate and couldn’t sell my house, I took a buy to let mortgage on my house. At first I actually paid money into the account to cover the shortfall between rent, the letting agent and mortgage payments (I KNOW CRAZY right!).
It wasn’t until 2004 that I realised that I could make serious money from property and started flipping property and investing in commercial property but it was still a JOB! The capital growth was fantastic and I started leveraging that as deposits and buying more buy to let property. I made £80,000 from just owning that property that made me an accidental landlord. To even attempt to save that money, from my job income would have been impossible, and hence I have since become hooked on PROPERTY! If not OBSESSED, I LOVE what property can achieve, especially, the independence from trading my time for money.
Then I discovered HIGH CASHFLOW property strategies. Lorraine came home from work and her friend had mentioned HMOs to her, she was raving about them. Me, having worked in the police I was sceptical. But with an open mind, I started to investigate the opportunity. A colleague of mine told me a few top tips, that changed my mind. It was then that I learnt, how finding the right tenants and systemising everything made for less hassle, tenants that love their homes and rents paid on time each month! Happy dance!
Now in 2021, I have over £7 million pounds of property! I know it’s bloody ridiculous.There’s also a beach house in Wales, which is a great holiday let and YES – I get to spend some time there too with my family!
It takes time. But I know you can do this too. You just need to follow the recipe and I love that PROPERTY can buy your time back, so you can do whatever you want.
My rent collections each month are over £50,000 per month. I also provide quality homes to over 100 tenants. Now, I believe that’s something to be proud of.
